Çankırı Karatekin University (ÇAKÜ) were founded in 2007. Faculty of Science has 6 science departments as of 2021-2022: Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Mathematics (English) and Statistics. 5 of our departments offer master`s programs and 4 departments offer doctoral programs.

The departments within our faculty provide high quality undergraduate and graduate education with their programs consisting of courses in accordance with the Bologna system by applying contemporary education methods at the international level. These courses help our students to provide theoretical and applied infrastructure after their bachelor degree. Morever, our education system encourage them to do scientific research and aims to develop their skills to the highest level. In addition, our students can continue their education for certain periods in the elite universities of Europe and Turkey within the framework of student exchange programs such as Erasmus and Mevlana.

The academic staff of our faculty aims to contribute to the development of science and technology, to contribute to international and national literature and to find solutions to current problems in order to represent our country in the best way in the world. I would like to state that Çankırı, the city located between the Central Anatolia Region and the Black Sea Region, is the right choice for prospective students.
