
Within the scope of the "2515-COST European Cooperation in Science and Technology Program," the action titled "Social, biological and climatic impacts of salt ages (SaltAges)-CA23124" initiative, titled "Assessment of the Biological, Ecological, and Socio-Cultural Importance of the Çankırı Salt Cave," has been supported as a TÜBİTAK-COST project and accepted as an EU project.
The project, which is the first TÜBİTAK and European Union project accepted in the field of specialization at Çankırı Karatekin University, will be carried out by Faculty of Science faculty member Prof. Dr. Seçil Akıllı Şimşek, who emphasized that the project will evaluate the biological diversity, ecological balance, and socio-cultural importance of the Çankırı Salt Cave using an interdisciplinary approach. cultural importance of the Çankırı Salt Cave will be evaluated using an interdisciplinary approach.
The project, which will be implemented with the support of TÜBİTAK, Çankırı Karatekin University, and Çankırı Municipality, will also involve Faculty of Science members Assoc.
