VISIT TO SAIDA DR. MOULAY TAHAR UNIVERSITY IN ALGERIA AS PART OF ERASMUS+ TEACHING MOBILITY

Our faculty members, Prof. Dr. Şevki ADEM and Dr. Enis SERT, visited Saida Dr. Moulay Tahar University in Algeria between May 18–23, within the scope of the Erasmus+ KA171 Staff Teaching Mobility program.
During the visit, they held meetings with the Rector, Vice Rectors, and Deans of relevant faculties of the host university to discuss potential academic collaborations. In addition, research teams engaged in detailed negotiations, exploring new joint projects and agreeing to cooperate in certain areas.

Coinciding with Student Week at the host university, our faculty members had the opportunity to meet many students and introduce our country, our city, and our university. It was observed that the students followed developments in Turkey with great interest. The visit also allowed for experiencing various cultural aspects of the region.

As part of the academic exchange, Prof. Dr. Şevki ADEM delivered a seminar titled "Bridging Computational Design and Therapeutic Development", while Dr. Enis SERT presented "Biomedical Applications of Nanoparticles and Synthesis Methods". These seminars were attended by undergraduate and graduate students as well as academic staff.

Our faculty members expressed their great satisfaction with the visit and emphasized that the host university is highly open to international collaboration. They also recommended that colleagues from our faculty and university consider visiting Algeria and Saida Dr. Moulay Tahar University in the future.
